Membership is open to anyone who is concerned about alcohol and gambling related harm.
There are several ways to become member:

- Alternatively, you can now join on line via our Online Membership application page

Membership costs as little as £1.00, benefits include:
- Fast-track advice and information for your family and/or your staff, including our regular newsletter, apas times
- You will have direct input into the activities of apas, in determining priorities for our work, and working with us to achieve agreed goals. This will include approaching apas for assistance with any advocacy issues of importance to you or your organisation
- You can vote in all apas elections and elect the members of the Board (which sets the policy of the organisation)
- You can participate in the members’ meetings
- You will be notified of every Annual General Meeting and any Extraordinary General Meetings
- You can request a copy of the Audited Accounts
- You can (except in certain circumstances) stand for election to the Board
