apas is an independent, not for profit provider of a variety of services designed to reduce the harm alcohol and gambling causes to individuals, families and the communities they live in.
We are based in the middle of Nottingham and Derby city but we provide support throughout Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and the neighbouring counties. We also receive and respond to enquiries Nationwide and Internationally via our telephone and Internet services.
Our organisation is unique in the East Midlands in that it offers immediate, independent, accessible and confidential advice in relation to all aspects of problematic drinking and gambling and all associated issues.

- apas direct is an immediate access walk in service where you talk to one of our advice workers with no appointment necessary.
- Our telephone advice service is staffed by trained advice workers 7 days a week (with an answering service out of hours)
- We have a text and email immediate response service if you’d prefer to get in contact with us that way.
